Bush Bashing Equal to Political Looting

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, thousands of our fellow Americans may
have lost their lives. There can be no more costly or tragic news than this to
report. Thousands upon thousands more in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama,
have lost homes, valuables, and have seen their lives turned completely upside
down.
Reports from New Orleans and other stricken areas of the Gulf coast have shown
us many sides of our neighbors, not all of them flattering at all. Surely there
have been, and will continue to be enumerable tales of heroism, and
self-sacrifice.
Many in these areas have risked their lives to rescue others, and certainly
many, many Americans, and people from across the globe will reach deep into
their pockets to help the victims of this natural tragedy.
Yes, there are many heroes to be given gratitude and love. Sadly though there
are others, far less numerous, who deserve our scorn and condemnation for their
actions during this calamity.
We have all seen videos and photos of the looters. We have heard and read
reports of assaults, murders, rapes, all done by miscreants who are far too
willing to use any advantage to visit their brand of evil upon the innocent
victims. Frankly, these scumbags are a not much better than those who follow
Osama Bin Laden if you ask me. Yes, I can empathize with anyone who takes food
or clothing to survive; no reasonable person can fault such an action.
Those who willingly use these dire circumstances to harm others, however, are
terrorists in my book. They are the worst example of mankind, and every American
should wish the severest of punishments upon these miscreants!
Then there are the thugs who have taken this opportunity to loot and pillage,
not for survivals sake, but for mere personal gain. Trust me stealing TV’s or
beer is not done for survival; opportunistic criminals who only think of
themselves do it.
Street thugs, however, have done not all the looting, though. There is another
type of looting going on not in New Orleans, or in Biloxi, Mississippi, or
Mobile, Alabama, but all across America. This looting is not for TVs or beer, or
other material items. Instead, this looting is for political power, let us call
it Leftist looting since it is the American Left which is perpetrating it.
In this time of tragedy, every decent America should be concentrating on
uniting, to help the victims of Katrina. Most of us, left, right, and center are
doing exactly that. However, there are those like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton,
and the rest of the lunatic left which has been all too happy to use the tragedy
of others to bash President Bush.
So far, these political looters have accused our president of not acting fast
enough in sending help to the areas devastated by Katrina. never mind that he
declared the region a disaster area two days BEFORE the storm made landfall,
allowing FEMA to begin relief efforts.
President Bush has also been accused of sending all our National Guard forces to
Iraq, therefore, not allowing any to be used in the afflicted states. Of course,
there were thousands of National Guard forces dispatched to these areas the day
after Katrina hit them, but the Left is not allowing this fact stop their
damnable tirades!
Perhaps the most disgusting, and most predictable accusation against President
Bush has been he did not care about the victims because they are poor and Black.
Yep, you got it, the President is a racist! Is there a more baseless and
despicable charge that can be carelessly leveled?
Really though, do the political looters making these charges give a damn if it
helps the victims? Of course not. They care about bashing Bush. That is what it
is all about for them. They may beat their elitist chests all day long and into
the night. They may crow about compassion and how they care for the downtrodden
till, they are hoarse.
They have one concern and one only. Discrediting President Bush, and any other
conservative they can. They are so consumed by their hatred for Bush, and their
lust for power that they will use the weakest and their suffering to advance
their hateful agenda.
They may as well go into New Orleans and start stealing TVs and ransacking
stores and stealing like a common hood. They are no different and certainly no
better than the thugs who used Katrina to bully and hurt others are they?
They saw an opportunity to help themselves and they took it. They gave not one
care about helping victims of the storm. They, instead, took advantage to help
themselves. Please remember this the next time one of these loud mouths is
spewing their baloney!
When the poor and helpless needed them, they chose to go on a personally
beneficial looting spree!
