California has enacted legislation which provides basic forms of wills and powers of attorney.  We have taken these forms directly from the enabling statutes have reproduced them here for your use.  If you have very simple needs, and no tax concerns, these forms could be the way to go.  Be sure to follow the instructions carefully.  A botched form could be worse than doing nothing at all.
